Blacksmithing
The carpenters’ tools were made by the blacksmith, the stone masons tools were also, and so were the butchers’ knives and the hinges on cabinets and most of the utilitarian items used in the kitchen. All are indebted to the blacksmith. An interesting thing about blacksmithing is that it existed for a thousand years but there was never a written text on how to do it until it became an obsolete trade in the early nineteen hundreds. With a hammer, anvil and forge I am trying to give respect to those before me and carry on the tradition.

The items below are for sale or if you have ideas of something you would like me to make please contact me.
